Based
on the data presented there was information shared regarding the preliminary
vision for the FEMINEN Network. The
following key points were discussed.
• FEMales IN ENgineering
• What?
– A group of female engineers who meet
periodically to network and to share learnings.
• Why?
– Female professional engineers do not
have a venue to discuss topics specific to the types of challenges they face.
• How?
– Networking events, workshops,
discussion forums
– Led by a committee of female engineers
with support from Management (Diversity – Lori Campbell)
– Involvement with other entities such
as WISEST (lectures)
